motorcycles are the ultimate accessory. they make pretty much every guy look good and we know it. even when you’re not on your bike a few motorcycle related items give most of that same manly flair. the cut of a classic cafe style motorcycle jacket makes most irresistable and a good pair of motorcycle style boots make you feel just a little more badass. put on your shit kickers and kick some shit.
double H makes serious boots for serious cowboys, and they also have started making some quality boots for the less serious among us. the metro has everything a good modern boot should have to wear with a nice pair of jeans. remember, you’re buying boot cut jeans, so your jeans go over your boots, and not tucked into them. that’s why the metro is a half boot, it doesn’t come up to your knees so it’s easier to put on (and get off), but it still looks great sticking out from under your jeans – even when you’re sitting down. it’s made of broken-in brown leather. has a slightly boxy toe (round toes are for combat boots, not dress boots). and it has a full harness – a coup de grace of bike attitude. meet the tougher, more attractive you.

can’t fathom featuring cropped boots… seem kinda go-go… def un-butch, sorta like those chris everette sans-pompom anklette sportlette sockettes that guys wear… crop-stuff is def non-boing.
when the pants are on, no one knows they don’t come all the way up. these are pretty high for “cropped” boots. and half boots are so much easier to deal with and more comfortable. don’t you think? if i wear anything much taller than a pair of high tops they rub my calves raw. hate that. but don’t worry AJ. i got a pair of boots for you up my sleeves. oh do i.
Do chicks dig these boots too though?
There was a time I thought so, but now I’m not so sure. I think they’re cool, and 2nd the half boot over full. Even when they don’t rub, the whole business about not being able to wear them over my pants bothers me. I hate that chicks own that boot over pants style now. Most of them look bad, (especially the Uggs, but let’s start with that) but a few of them look like a sort of hot pirate or woodnymph/elf. But that number is really low. Which is why I’m botherd by women pretty much owning that style now. I can’t do it. And trust me on this one, its not worth it. My right, EVERY MAN’s right, to be able to walk around like Han being taken away by full-boots-over-pants girls, is discraceful. And its made me even more anti-full length boot.
They’re def still okay with skirts or dresses… No hard feelings there… sort of.

I’ve ordered said footwear. We’ll see how things shake out when they get here. I’m with you Joe on the Han thing, though we should refocus on his shirt and belt.
i think han’s shirt has a certain style to it. i kinda like it. the belt is easy, but brown boots with black pants / belt? hand needs my help.
okay guys seriously, I’ve been hunting for that shirt on and off for a year now and I’ve had it. That’s it. I’m fed up with it. So let me make this clear. I’m going to britex this week. I’m going to find that friggin fabric, and I’m going to toil night and day and miss some academic paper dealine in order to make this shirt right. Once and for all. Nobody, and I mean nobody that I’ve ever found on the interwebs has ever done it right, either pattern or fabric. So I claim to you this day, that the Han shirt will be mission alpha, priority number 1. And then I’ll procead to make a few only in my size and let all you bastards just stare in amazement and behold all the suave and scoundrel on the streets of San Francisco.
Aliterate that, non-Han-shirt wearing imperial scum!
